MOT London: Bass & UKG fundraiser to support Shelter 📢
London’s vibrant musical landscape is set to unite for a noble cause as Venue MOT gears up to host a fundraising event dedicated to supporting UK homelessness charity Shelter.
Mark your calendars for December 22, 2023, as the Bermondsey-based club opens its doors for a night of pulsating beats and heartfelt generosity.
The lineup for this philanthropic extravaganza features a stellar cast of UK bass and garage specialists, including the likes of Oblig, Bluetoof, Bruce, MJK, Alicia, OL Drift, Scar, Allecto, Pasta Kebab, and Stem.
Venue MOT’s Lucien Calkin shared the motivation behind this charitable initiative, stating, “We iwanted to use one of the last remaining dates of the calendar year for a good cause again.”
This echoes Venue MOT’s commitment to making a positive impact, as seen in last December’s ‘Women, Life, Freedom’ fundraiser, which provided financial aid for those affected by the oppressive regime in Iran.
The event featured Iranian artists MOTZ and Motif Paris, showcasing both art and music.
Calkin emphasized the significance of supporting Shelter during this season, stating, “This time it will be towards Shelter, who provide help for those sleeping rough, which is especially needed for this time of year.”
The event has garnered support from various promoters and labels closely associated with the venue, resulting in a powerhouse lineup featuring some of the UK’s finest talent.
For those eager to contribute to this meaningful cause, tickets for the fundraiser event are now available for free reservation, with a suggested donation of £5 or more at the door.
