Space Riccione: Carl Cox opening party announced

Get ready to experience the next chapter of Space, as they gear up to launch their newest club in Riccione, Italy this summer. Promising an unforgettable opening party, it’ll be headlined by none other than the legendary Carl Cox.

Scheduled for Sunday, June 2nd, this day-to-night extravaganza marks the beginning of Space’s global expansion into Italy’s Eastern Riviera, bringing with it the renowned energy and atmosphere that made its Ibiza predecessor an icon.

With its sprawling layout reminiscent of the original Space, the new Riccione venue boasts four expansive areas — the Arena, Garden, Terrace, and Lounge, along with exclusive private spaces, promising a “new generation” clubbing experience unlike any other.

Fabrizio De Meis, COO of Space Riccione, expressed excitement about the venture, stating, “The new era of Space will be a beautiful and unique experience. We’re excited to reveal our vision of a state-of-the-art, club-meets-festival venue.”

The return of Carl Cox, who helped solidify Space Ibiza’s status as a global nightlife powerhouse during his 15-year residency, adds a nostalgic touch to the launch party. 

Pepe Roselló, the mastermind behind the Space brand, emphasized the continuation of Space’s legacy in Riccione, highlighting the venue’s commitment to music, entertainment, and inclusivity.

This June, Space Riccione will host its much-anticipated “opening fiesta” featuring Cox performing a hybrid live set, setting the tone for a summer filled with electronic music’s biggest names gracing its stage every Saturday.
