Believe Me Now? Becky Hill Unveils New Album

Becky Hill has released her highly anticipated second album, ‘Believe Me Now?’, via Polydor/Astralwerks. Dropped on Friday, May 31st, this marks her first studio album since ‘Only Honest on the Weekend’ in 2021.

With an impressive 17 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 10 billion streams, Hill’s influence and impact on the music industry are substantial. She has garnered multiple million-selling singles in the UK, six Top 10 hits, a No.1 single, and two BRIT Awards for Best Dance Act.

Reflecting on the new album, Hill shared, “Looking back at my previous work, I realised I was missing elements of euphoria and aimed to create a more mature, sophisticated dance music sound. Writing this album was straightforward and swift because, for the first time, I knew exactly what I wanted to express. I’m extremely proud of this album and what it represents.”

The album features 15 tracks forming an array of pop anthems and dancefloor hits, including ‘Darkest Hour,’ co-written by MNEK, and ‘Multiply,’ inspired by future house.

Becky Hill’s album ‘Believe Me Now?’ has produced six hit singles:

  1. “Side Effects” (Feat. Lewis Thompson, May 12, 2023) – UK #35, UK Dance #12
  2. “Disconnect” (with Chase & Status, July 14, 2023) – UK #6
  3. “Never Be Alone” (January 19, 2024) – UK #23
  4. “Outside of Love” (March 28, 2024) – UK #54
  5. “Right Here” (May 1, 2024)
  6. “True Colours” (Feat. Self Esteem, May 24, 2024)

In an interview with DJ Mag, Hill stated, “I am an artist, and I don’t need to keep chasing the charts to feel successful. This album proves it, which is why it’s called ‘Believe Me Now?’”. After performing at Radio 1’s Big Weekend and recently completing her first European headline tour, Hill is now set to embark on a sold-out UK arena tour in October followed in November by her largest North American shows to date.
