OnTrack: The free seven-week music production programme coming to Camden’s Roundhouse
The Roundhouse, a well-known music venue in Camden, is now accepting applications for OnTrack, a free seven-week music production course aimed at young people looking to enter the music industry.
Designed for those aged 18 to 25 who are not currently in education, employment, or training, OnTrack requires no prior music experience.
The program offers a blend of workshops and masterclasses led by industry professionals, covering essential skills like songwriting, mixing, and recording. Participants will gain practical experience and develop their creative abilities while building valuable industry connections.
The course also emphasises the business side of music, providing guidance on self-promotion and branding as a musician.
According to Angus Miller, Senior Youth Facilitator, the course is unique in the UK, offering a challenging environment that encourages experimentation. Alumni like Olivia AU attest to the transformative experience, noting how it brings out the best in participants.
With a history of supporting emerging talent, OnTrack aims to break down barriers to entry in the music industry, offering opportunities to those who might not otherwise have them.
The next course runs from October 14 to December 4. Applications are open until September 13. You can apply here.
