Egg London: New sound system and renovation for the London club
Egg London has recently undergone major renovations, upgrading its sound systems across all three floors. With a capacity of 1,000, the club now has two new owners: Egg promoter Ali Bee and former head of operations Sen Jay, who co-founded the management company Chapter 1 Creations.
Chapter 1 Creations has revamped Egg’s loft, middle floor, and garden areas, introducing a d&b Audiotechnik sound system in the main room, enhancing the KV2 Audio system on the middle floor, and updating the Funktion One system in the loft.
“We’re committed to preserving Egg’s legacy while modernising the club for future generations,” said Bee and Jay, who emphasised improvements in production, facilities, and customer service, including a new security team.
In partnership with London Sound Academy, Egg has also launched a DJ course allowing students to practice on the upgraded systems and perform live at the club.
Egg joins other London venues, such as fabric and 93 Feet East, in recent sound system upgrades, enhancing their iconic spaces for a new era of clubbing.
