Summer 2023: Looking ahead to festival season π
Summer is just around the corner, and with it comes the highly anticipated UK festival season.
As the temperatures begin to rise and the days grow longer, excitement builds for the numerous music festivals taking place across the country from May onwards. Whether you’re a fan of house, tech, trance or anything in-between, there are plenty to choose from.
]Here are some of the best upcoming UK dance music festivals to look out for this summer.
Creamfields
26th – 28th May – Chelmsford / 24th – 27th August – Daresbury
One of the biggest and most popular dance music festivals in the UK, Creamfields returns this summer with not one, but two instalments in the form of Creamfields South and Creamfields North.
As always, the line-up punches up there with one the biggest on the scene featuring headline sets from Swedish House Mafia, Eric Prydz, Tiesto, Patrick Topping, Calvin Harris, MK & Annie Mac.
Junction 2
21st & 22nd July – Boston Manor Park, London
After last yearβs cancellation due to strikes on the London transport network, Junction 2 is back this July and renowned for its impressive industrial setting and pumping sound systems.
This year’s lineup includes Adam Beyer, Dixon, Jeff Mills, Nina Kraviz + more tech heavy weights.
Parklife
10th & 11th June – Heaton Park, Manchester
Parklife is a Manchester-based festival that features a diverse range of music, including dance, hip-hop, and indie.
This yearβs line-up features The Prodigy, Skrillex, Carl Cox (Hybrid Live), Joseph Capriati, Honey Dijon, Patrick Topping, Andy C and more.
Field Day
19th August – Victoria Park, London
Field Day takes place in London’s Victoria Park and features a lineup of electronic and alternative music. This year’s dance lineup includes Aphex Twin, Bonobo & Jon Hopkins.

We Are FSTVL
28th – 29th May – Upminster, Essex
Celebrating their 10th anniversary this summer, We Are FSTVL are expanding to a 3 day festival and moving to the August bank holiday weekend (going head to head with Creamfields).
With twice as many stages as previous years and production boundaries being pushed to the experiential limit, expect sounds from Circoloco, Solid Grooves, Trick, XXL, Eastenderz, Abode, Disco Disco, Foreverland, Lovejuice, Dance on Arrival, Boat Club & more to be announced!
