Top 100 DJs 2023: David Guetta crowned No.1 🥇
It’s official – David Guetta has ousted Martin Garrix from the top spot and been crowned No. 1 DJ in the world in the annual DJ Mag poll.
The ceremony which took place last night from The Standard in Ibiza, included a performance from Guetta and several others across four continents in unique locations.
This makes it David’s fourth time in the No.1 spot, more than a decade after he was first crowned the world’s No.1 DJ back in 2011. Alongside Martin Garrix with four wins a piece, the pair are now second only to Dutch trance legend Armin van Buuren, with his five No. 1s.
Commenting on the result: “It’s incredible! It’s wonderful!” Guetta said of his win.
“It’s great because I feel like every time I’m on the top of the Top 100, it’s for a different reason. You know, the two previous times were probably thanks to Future Rave. This time is probably thanks to ‘I’m Good’ and those big crossover records. I love that I can express different feelings in different ways.”
1.3 million votes were counted from 237 countries in this year’s Top 100 DJs poll. You can see the full Top 100 DJs list here.
