The Dance Village: Bigger areas confirmed for Shangri-La, Arcadia, Silver Hayes, and The Glade.
Glastonbury has unveiled its official 2025 site map, revealing major expansions to its dance music zones including Shangri-La, Arcadia, Silver Hayes, and The Glade.
Unveiled to the public this past weekend, the updated layout introduces sweeping changes across the festival’s late-night and dance-focused areas. Leading the charge is Shangri-La, which expands into a new realm dubbed Dragon’s Tail—a mysterious addition that currently promises a bar but hints at much more to come.
The redesign aligns with Shangri-La’s previously announced 2025 theme, The Wilding, a concept that brings four brand new stages to life in what organisers describe as a “ground-up transformation.” With its roots in activism and underground culture, the area continues to push the boundaries of immersive festival experience.
Elsewhere, Arcadia and The Glade see subtle but significant enhancements. Both areas now include larger crowd spaces, improved access, and new stage layouts tailored for more dynamic performances. Meanwhile, The Other Stage benefits from expanded viewing zones as the adjacent Oxlyers campsite is trimmed to accommodate the swelling festival crowds.
Camping facilities have also been optimised across the board. New zones such as South Park 2 and Pylon Ground add capacity for general admission camping, while upgraded restroom facilities are set to ease traffic in high-traffic zones.
With line-ups for major zones like San Remo, Shangri-La, and Silver Hayes nearly locked in, excitement is hitting fever pitch. Glastonbury Festival 2025 runs from June 25 to 29, and tickets—released last November—sold out in just 35 minutes.
