Ibiza 2024: Fisher alters residency for the birth of his child
One of the most in-demand DJs in the electronic scene, Fisher is set to return to the White Isle of Ibiza for another blockbuster residency.
The Australian party starter is descending on the Playa d’En Bossa hotspot of Hï Ibiza throughout the summer, but after announcing the arrival of a special guest to the Fisher household, his residency plans have undergone a slight revamp.
Fisher is known for displaying a colourful array of dance moves to his captivated global crowds, and is often accompanied by his wife Chloe. However, the pending arrival of Baby Fisher means that Chloe will be absent from the summer shenanigans, with Fisher set to take a break and follow suit for the birth of their child.
Announcing the residency break recently on social media, Fisher shared:
‘As you know, my wife’s due to give birth this summer and we’re both over the moon. To be with Chloe for one of the biggest moments of our lives, I will hand over the reins of my Hï Ibiza residency to the incredible Patrick Topping from 19th June – 10th July.’
The news was met by widespread delight from fans of his replacement – Patrick Topping – as the Newcastle-born tech house star unveiled his 4 week streak in the Hï theatre. Bringing his renowned Trick label to the Spanish superclub, Topping will no doubt hold the fort in spectacular fashion and continue to bring his carefully crafted sound to a guaranteed sell out crowd.
